Samantha Kaufman
Teacher
Samantha Kaufman is a movement educator specializing in intimacy, stage combat, and the Michael Chekhov Technique. She holds an MFA from Florida Atlantic University and a BFA from the University of Wyoming, and completed professional circus training at Actors Gymnasium and movement training at Movement Theatre Studio in NYC.
Samantha is a certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), a certified stage combat teacher, Fight Director, and theatrical firearms safety instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), and a certified Michael Chekhov teacher with the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium.
She has taught at universities, conservatories, theatres, and professional workshops across the United States and Europe.
